Position Summary:
Sports Officer – you’ll make sure that every member of the Club has the chance to take part in sport by ensuring that all sports sections are aware of available activities and where they can go to get involved.
You’ll distribute information and organise sport-related events/projects, classes, programmes, coaching, club development and training. You’ll also need to target those who want to take part for fun, as well as those who are interested in competing at all levels, from local to national and international. This position requires critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently.
Sports Officer must work constructively and collaborate with all sports sections and departments. Sports Officer is expected to maintain an awareness of potential problems while creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere in their particular sports event.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties and responsibilities include the following and other duties may be assigned from time to time.
- Daily/Weekend report for Sports Club facilities
- Ensured sports activities calendar are updated daily on the events happening and liaise with all those related departments at least 2 weeks in advance.
- To ensure all the Sporting facilities (inclusive of swimming pool and gymnasium) are clean and in good playing condition.
- Issued or arranged out events order form to all the various department that are involved.
- Handle towel missing and follow up with investigation for missing towel.
- To attend and reply to member complaint/s either by phones, emails or SMS/WhatsApp Manager on Duty (MOD).
- Checked email on request made by SCC chairman, GM, Section Captain, Convenor and members for any duty assignment to be carried out.
- Attending telephone calls from Section Captains/Members and to assist/follow-up on their request.
- Handled and follow-up with Member complaints that are pertaining to Sports matters.
- Received letter via email, fax and postal from other Clubs and to arrange for circulation to all parties’ concern or for GC approval (if any).
- Draft letter for typist to reply and arrange for delivery.
- Write Sports reports for Club newsletter.
- To arrange with suppliers for quotations and to negotiate with suppliers for best price.
- To arrange for tender process and follow up for all sporting facilities.
- To follow up for payments to suppliers.
- To attend and assist all sports section monthly section meeting.
- To write Section Meeting minutes
- To arrange for Section subsidies for approval from SCC and GC.
- To arrange for Section subsidies and to apply /follow up with accounts for subsidies disbursement.
- To ensure subsidies given are properly accounted for.
- To handle all sports section complaints
- To check monthly sports section accounts.
- To prepare Section annual sports budget and monitor on the budget allocated.
- To arrange exchange of souvenirs for Section games.
- To coordinate for all sporting Section and Inter Club Tournaments.

- To check and replenish first aid boxes in the sport facilities in line with established procedures

Position Title: Upkeep Facilities Officer
Reports to: Upkeep Facilities & Maintenance Executive
Position Summary: To perform and to ensure preventive and predictive maintenance, trouble shooting and corrective maintenance, work order scheduling, planning, system operation and inspection and making improvement on current electrical sections.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties and responsibilities include the following and other duties may be assigned from time
to time
- To maintain, install and trouble-shoot of electrical systems, air-condition system, fire system, building, water heating system, machinery and equipment
- Liaise with utilities providers such as TNB, JBA, NG, DOSH and government regulatory bodies on utility services and compliance issues
- Ensure new installations and maintenance is safe, correct and legal
- Create contingency plans for major fault and temporary usage for electrical, plumbing and centralized air-con system;
- Conduct monitoring, trending and tracking of daily power consumption of the Company, as well as, initiate preventive maintenance to prevent or minimize equipment breakdown and power failure; and
- Ensure incident free work environment in compliance with EHS requirements.
- Daily inspection on the electrical main switch board (LV, HT &Transformer).
- Handle electrical consultant inspection & update status on electric supply condition.
- To ensure building electrical is maintained effectively and comply with Energy Commission requirement.
- To ensure that Sub-Station equipment installations is executed in such a manner that meets the quality specified as well as safety and health requirements.
- To ensure that installations comply with latest Energy Commission of Malaysia (Suruhanjaya Tenaga).
- Some knowledge of conveyors, HVAC, compressed air generations and distributions.
- Fully conversant with latest energy savings methods and requirements.
- Performance monitoring and continuous improvement of the Club’s electrical equipment and system towards achieving low operational cost and high Club availability and reliability.
- Identify and timely notify any areas of defects or abnormal conditions to your Superior.
- Maintain proper documentation of electrical maintenance and other related records.
- Supervise Sub-Contractors carrying out electrical work in the Club.
- Liaise with TNB and other local authorities on all matters pertaining to the operation of Sub-Stations and other related matters.
- To report all incidents in writing to your Superiors.
- To be accessible and contactable at all times.
- To behave well and respectfully to General Manager, General Committee and Members at all times.
- To be punctual for work.
- To update the progress of work to your Superior’s whenever required.
- To keep a record on all equipment of the department.
- To be able to report any shortcomings to your immediate Superior’s.
- To be able to meet deadlines and carry out job given promptly, efficiently, clean and tidy at all times.
- To be able to take initiative to resolve problems when immediate Superiors are not available.

Position Title: Lifeguard
Reports To: Sports Executive
Position Summary:
Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency. Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Monitors safety and well-being of all members and guests in and around the swimming pool area.
- Ensures cleanliness, safety and upkeep of swimming pool.
- Implements all rules and guidelines.
- Cautions members/guests on unruly behavior.
- Assists and rescues members/guests in danger of drowning or when injured.
- Conducts First Aid and CPR.
- Certified Bronze Medallion
